Ginika Tor is a seasoned leader, mentor, and advocate for women's empowerment and youth development. With years of experience in leadership and community development, Ginika is dedicated to inspiring and empowering others to become the best version of themselves.

 

Hon. Dr. Mrs. Ginika Florence Tor, a native of the Amoli Enyimba community in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, is also a renowned TV personality, media entrepreneur, motivational speaker, life coach, and brand management expert with a proven track record in income generation strategy and planning. She is also a powerhouse in events management, brand strategy, and TV programming.

 

She obtained a Degree in Law (LL.B Honours) and Master’s in Law (LL.M) at the Baze University, Abuja. Known affectionately as "Ginika" by her friends, she is a dedicated achiever who excels in every endeavor she undertakes.

With a commitment to continuous learning, she is an alumna of Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Cambridge University, where she earned verified certificates in Leadership: Creating Public Value and Building Stakeholder Value, respectively. Additionally, she is currently enrolled in a certified program on Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development at Oxford University. Dr. Tor recently achieved a remarkable milestone, receiving an Honorary Ph.D. from American Management University at a prestigious ceremony held in the UK. This outstanding recognition was further underscored by her receipt of the esteemed African Advancement Forum Award, honoring her as the African Selfless Service Personality of the Year.

 

She has also actively participated in various life-changing training programs and summits, including Entrepreneurship Advancement in Leading Economy by Southern Barter Club USA, Collaborations and Business Development by Georgia Manufacturing Alliance USA, Advanced Leadership Program by GOTNI Leadership Institute, and the African Women Advancement Initiative Tech-Training.

In her quest to represent her community, Ginika ventured into politics. Her foray into politics began with a resounding open declaration in January 2018, garnering significant support and recognition within the All Progressives Congress (APC). Within a short span, she rose to prominence in Enugu State and contested for the position of Federal House of Representatives, eventually emerging as the Deputy Governorship Candidate for Enugu State. Ginika now serves as the Federal Commissioner representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission, appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in July 2020. Ginika has undoubtedly and conspicuously contributed to the promotion of the APC in Nigeria, demonstrating immense competence, reliability, credibility, and capacity.

 

This dynamic and accomplished woman has significantly contributed to the betterment of society through her purpose-driven initiatives and her roles on the boards of numerous companies. She is also the Publisher of Accolade Int’l Magazine and the visionary behind initiatives like the Mrs. Accolade Pageant, A Time Of Praise (ATOP), and Women of Worth Africa (WOW Africa), among others. She is the Founder/President of Omaluegwuoku Progressive Initiative and Secretary of Project 744.
